Transformers finally done right?

Post by Gamerforlife »

This doesn't look too bad. It's obviously aimed at people like me who grew up on the original eighties cartoons, which is kind of a dream come true for me

Licensed games are usually pretty bad, but I think it is fair to say that this game is...

... more than meets the eye.

LOL, everybody always says that about licensed games, but there's a fairly long list of good ones out there. This game looks like a fairly standard third person shooter, but I like that they tried hard to give it that generation 1 Transformers feel and making it a prequel was smart as it gives them some freedom in design and storytelling. I'm not a huge shooter fan, but when I do play them I usually prefer the sci fi ones(everything else is too ridiculously unrealistic) and I loved Transformers as a kid, particularly after the movie(which was epic). I might check this out

being a g1 fan myself (and after those horrendous bay movies) i was a little worried myself. but then i watched this:
it put my hopes up a bit of course (fans should know the song). but i was still worried because that was just a gamestop commercial, i can't base a game off of that, yet i felt hopeful (btw sound wave and shockwave are my two favorite transformers). soon i found out this game has nothing to do with bay and follows the comic some of the comics. now im reading what other fans of g1 are saying and it makes be feel much better. needless to say i want to play the game really badly.
