Now that thing looks slick, which mode of SATA to IDE adaptor did you use? I've always seen space as a primary issue in tiny cases like this.

That thing is sick, and those specs are nuts. Where'd you get that custom jewel? That's what really brings it together for me.

That's sick. What sort of performance improvement do you get from the ram upgrade? I'm assuming that only non official software can make use of it...

I have a Version 1.1 MoBo so all I did was add a switch to split the 1MB bios TSOP and flash two 512kb bios.

Since the 360 came out people lost interest on the original xbox and the guy I use to get my jewels from closed shop.

Here are two more jewel I used for a custom xbox for friends


128MB works on XBMC and Emulators (MAME, Surreal64), You can patch xbox games to use 128MB but not all of them use it.

How/where did you get the RAM update done? I've been looking for this myself. You didn't update the CPU itself right? That's still 733Mhz?

Please tell me, what effect does doubling the RAM have? What works the same, runs better, or won't run with double RAM?
