This weekend in gaming.

Post by Flake »

Alright guys, it's time to weekend. I'm going to continue to plow through Secret of Mana 2 and hope to avoid any 'grind-anxiety'.

What's everyone else playing?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I'm going to try and get 100% in DK64. If I finish, I'll playthrough Banjo Kazooie

Is there much grinding in SD3? I'm halfway through Secret of Mana right now and haven't had to grind a bit.

Haha! SD3 is 3DS backwards! At first I read it and thought you were dyslexic because I can't get the 3DS off my mind!

Well, it depends a lot on how you go through the game. If you have characters that can cast healing magic early on, you can brave stronger areas and level up faster. If you don't (and I don't) you have to either grind a little to hit level 38 at the right time or blow all your gil on healing items and brave the hard places anyway.

I'll be working on Red Dead Redemption as well.

Now though I think I am going to play some World at War, drink me a couple beers or so and yell at little kids that call me bad names.

I wont get to do a lot of video gaming this weekend, but I will be putting some time into La Pucelle Tactics. The game is not nearly as complicated, time consuming, difficult or grind filled as initially assumed it would be. So far this has been working out pretty well for me.

After I beat that, I will probably go back and finish Sakura Wars: So Long My Love.

I'm currently working on doing some Let's Plays, so I'll be playing a bunch of different games to find one that I wanna LP.

As for a game that I'll just play, I'm thinking about getting a ROM (o noes illegal!) of Final Fantasy Tactics. I'm in the mood for some turn-based action, y'know?
