Why would somebody make a game like that?
Why would somebody make a game like that?
I just saw this virtual yard sale game for sale on Steam:
Seriously? With all the technological power available to us in modern computing, somebody decided that a game of virtual yard sale would be a good use of time and resources? Real yard sales are fairly boring. Why the hell would anyone play this?
I thought this would be a good thread for games that probably should have never been made because their concepts are so stupid.

I don't know, doesn't seem anymore ridiculous than the concepts for games like Viva Pinata, The Sims or Harvest Moon. You don't know if it's good until you play it

It'd be pretty awesome if it was a stat based game. 'Yes! I leveled up. Should I put my points in selling fake antiques or making cardboard signs?'
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I love going to yardsales!
I'll play this game, because you never know, you might just find NWC in-game.

I'm always up for a new game concept, as long as it doesn't immediately trigger many "bad idea" red flags in my mind. Besides, the graphics look quite nice.

It's a silly veneer covering up one of those lazy "find the object" game.

Deadly Towers. I played it for hours as a kid and the whole time was like "who would make a game that is so confusing?!?! who would enjoy a game like this?!"
