All Ds games play on Dsi?

Hey Guys, Im looking a buying my daughter the New Super Mario Bros. game for her Dsi. The guy on craigslist selling the ds games says that not all games for the ds play on the dsi. Is this true?

I haven't had single compatibility problem yet. All games should work fine.

unless the game needed the GBA slot as well.

Oh, yeah, I forgot. Games like Guitar Hero won't work, because it needed a peripheral in the GBA slot.

It Guitar Hero is the only one that cant be played - because of the adapter. Arkanoid and Space Invaders can use a paddle controller (spinner) but it is not mandatory.

I bought it on a whim with Arkanoid. And realized that all these years it was the fact I was playing Arkanoid with a dpad is why I was terrible at it.
