One of the things I truly love about youtube is seeing videos put up by users of exceptional gameplay. I especially love seeing 1 credit runthroughs of classic arcade games, no damage runs, hard difficulty runs, etc. I'm not a fan of speed runs, but there are some fun ones to watch out there as well.
Do you guys have any particular channels you enjoy frequenting for gameplay vids?
Here's a few I've found:
This guy has 1cc runs of Mars Matrix, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Knights of the Round, Mushihimesama Futari(on God Mode), DoDonPachi, Strikers 1945 I, II and III, Final Fight and Giga Wing 2

Here's one with no damage runs of Alens vs Predator(Arcade), Batman Returns on the SNES(Maniac mode)and various other games that will appeal to the old schoolers here. A lot of really impressive stuff here. No damage gameplay is one of those things I especially love watching, as I believe it is how most games are meant to be played. There's some other fun stuff here too like Megaman X boss battles done with no dashing, no wall jumping and zero damage taken

I dont have any particular channels that I frequent but I also love watching people who have totally mastered a game, particulary 2d fighters.
This all spawned from an article Racket did a while ago which included somebody beating Ikarguga on 2 player mode and 15 consequetive parries on some version of SF.
I'll check those channels later

Though not Youtube, when I go to watch speedruns, I usually check Speed Demos Archive.
As for Youtube, if Let's Plays count, I usually watch ChuggaaConroy and ScottishDuck17, but that's just me.

I've been watching a bunch of vids on DarkSuzkaiden's channel today. This is a gamer after my own heart. He's got vids of some of my fave games, is a beat'em up fan like myself, always plays as the hot chick characters(LOL) and the guy just has some serious skills. I never even liked Megaman X 6 much before, but some of his extreme difficulty no damage/no armor speed runs of that game are poetry in motion.Curlypaul wrote:I dont have any particular channels that I frequent but I also love watching people who have totally mastered a game, particulary 2d fighters.
