So I literally just took apart my extra PS3 that rarely gets played. It was extremely dusty and I was bored. I followed a guide online, took everything apart, cleaned it, and reassembled it. It was extremely easy.
I tried to turn it on with my controller unplugged and it didn't turn on. I didn't think much of it. I plugged it in and turned it on with the power button. Everything was working perfectly. I even put a game it and it played just fine.
However I could never get the controller to connect to the PS3 wireless. It would only work plugged in. I even got another controller, plugged it in.. worked, then unplugged it and would never connect either.
I'm assuming I may have just forgot to plug something back in? Where is the Bluetooth located? Or is it probably something completely different?
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

That sucks.
This is a 20gb so it only accepts a wired connection. I feel like I just forgot to plug something in. I'm about to take it apart again to check.

The wifi board doubles as the bluetooth board as well. Make sure you have that plugged in right.

Are you sure you've synced the controller by plugging it into a USB cable?
