i wanted to know where do people get blank, snes,nes,sega and so on carts? and what do you use to connect it to your pc?

What i think you're asking about is EPROMs or EEPROMs. You use these EPROMs or EEPROMs, with a game image that you programmed (burned) on them, to replace the mask ROM(s) on a game. You program these chips using an EPROM programmer, which interfaces with your computer.

Apart from the EEPROM, you can reuse the board from crappy games if they're compatible with the repro you're making. Or you can buy newly made repro boards. RetroUSB sells some for the NES.

The new boards from RetroUSB.com are better to use for a few reasons. The best, the pinout doesn't differ from the standard pinout of EPROMs. Second, it's all brand new parts. Thirdly, you don't have to destroy a game to make a repro cart, which I think is very important.

I asked RetroUSB if there would ever be boards for other game systems like SNES and he said it was in the works.
