Top 10 worst anti-videogame propoganda

Post by J T »

I enjoyed watching some of these. I forget that Dungeons & Dragons was considered such a scary thing back in the 80s.

Also, anti-drug mario in the number 1 spot is just... wow.

Glenn Beck is a fear monger, and I feel very sorry for his legion of followers who hang on his every stupid word. Also, I wish I played D&D as a kid! Summoning demons, who knew?

Best. Quote. Ever. "There's this prostitute, and they're super-hard to kill, so I grab a machete and cut her head off."

One last thing... Lou Albano may have been as crazy as Glenn Beck.

If you watch the Captain Lou Albino and the Rape: The video game videos, they have the BEST one liner quotes ever such as:

"The only way to win... is to RAPE"

and

"if you do drugs you go to hell, then die"

Oh... words of the wise...

I don't see what's wrong with Captain Lou Albano telling kids that they are better off without drugs. That man was awesome.

Drugs are bad kids! But mushrooms give you magical powers.

Actually a lot of the anti-videogame propaganda is true...

For example, many people will say that "its just a videogame!" but how many people will let their 9 year old kid rip spines of his competitors' in a any game?
Its not about the videogames but content, there are adult books, adult music, adult movies, and adult videogames . So they are violent for real.

Also it is okay to criticize an adult on his videogaming habits. I personally don't mind an adult play 1 or 2 hours after work just hanging home and relaxing enjoy his time. But if you are acting like a 13 year old trying to complete all achievements, hunting for codes, e-mailing videogames magazines telling them how COOL the graphics on a new game is while you are 35, you know I don't know there should be more important things in your life. Videogames are really toys, its really ok to play monopoly from time to time, figuring out crosswords, or completing 1000 piece puzzle. But if you are dedicated to them and you do it on daily basis, somethings seems wrong. When you are kid , your supposed to play around.
