CDi Conroller

Post by forsigmar »

I just picked up a Magnavox CDi450 with a 3 button controller. Does anybody know what the switch on the controller does? Its a 3 position switch labeled N/I/II. I am assuming the I, II is to switch between 1 and 2 players. What is the N? I had a CDi about 10 years ago but I can't remember what the switch does.

Maybe its an autofire thing like the Turbo Grafx controller?

N- No autofire
I- Auto 1
II- Auto 2

I am just guessing. All I have is a racing game so its hard to tell what it does.

So different modes doesn't effect button positions in the game?

As far as I can tell no. Mind you I only have a crappy racing game that seems to run at about 5 frames a second so its hard to really tell.

I remember the one switch is so you can change it to left or right handed. Stupid no? Do you have the 3 button controller that can have a joystick screwed in it?
