That was a bit mean, obviously English isn't his first language.

I own Terranigma and while the translation might be classed as quirky its not really any better or worse than most games of its era. I had no problems understanding it and found it matched up well with the two previous Gaia games. I would definately seek it out if I were you but be warned it is pricey.

I was not trying to be mean. I apologize if I hurt anyone's feelings. I figured that his awkward grammar while asking about a potentially poor English translation was done for humorous effect.

Terranigma is already in English... It was released in PAL territories. You can get it in German as well (AFAIK).

I don't think anyone has bothered to do a fresh translation of Terranigma. All the repros I'm aware of are taking the PAL English ROM and applying the NTSC patch to bring it back up to 60 Hz. I've played about midway through and the translation is about the same as other games of the era.

Yeah, why would you bother translating it? The PAL version is perfect since there's the 60Hz patch.

Is there anyone here on Racketboy selling these repro carts at a reasonable price? I would love to find a copy for sale, as the prices tend to be really inflated on Ebay.

Well he claims sign language is his first language. Of course I have no way to myself confirm that or not.

Besides translation of Terranigma isn't so much the problem, as how its text looks. Large monospaced fonts are worse in English than Japanese.
