it looks like some sort of preprogrammed cart for a special controller. am i right?

I have looked for info on this for a long time too. I can not figure it out, but that was for a lot of 50. I think you can find 1 for $5 or less. I though about buying one just to have it, even thought I have no idea how to use it.

I'm pretty sure its just a memory chip that you can put in a japanese controller for the saturn to store button combinations. Theres different joypads you can use them for I think one joypads called a Fighting commander and ss pro commander. I don't think they're very rare though i've seen a quite a few on ebay going for only a few pounds or about five dollars. I havent seen many of the pads though.

because it's pretty obvious to me from the description that the seller has no fucking clue what he or she is selling. also i'm pretty sure i had it figured out, just wanted some input from some knowledgeable people on this forum.
