Im really tempted to buy one so I dont need to replace my NES connecter pins. That and I have some SNES games left over.

I honestly think that wiki article is full of bull...Why again can't it use the Zapper? I doubt they are commenting on anything more than the difference in connector. Plus, why again couldn't you hook up the original NES to a surround system? I mean there are multiple ways. silly intarweberz.
