hey guys My GF and I are Working on a Web-page, I would like the "Retro Pros" to Check it out. I look up to alot of you long time users and really would like some feedback. I know im not as skilled as most of you guys but I am tryin. I love this Web-page so much I wanted to give it a try, but with like retro Cartoons and Movies too. I hope you can take some constructive criticism. You should change either the background color or the font color in your opening statement. It's unreadable to me by default. I don't know if that's just because I'm colorblind, or if it's as difficult for everyone.

After quick look, I have a couple suggestions that'll have the site looking better.

1. A different background. I love TMNT too, but having a small repeating background image is almost never good.

2. The information on the top of the page:

We "Rap" About Blood, Guts and all that good Jazz. My Girlfriend and I love Toys,Comics,music and Most of all Retro Games and Horror Movies! I Sell Retro Gaming Goods Via Ebay, I also Love Web Pages like Racketboy.com and RF Generation but I wanted to Start a Page Thats More than Just Gaming Info, More like a Place to Chill and Talk about What you love. Talk about whatever you want we are stuck in the past man, Don't Limit yourself to talk from the 90's Do what you want when you want. The only rule is to have a great time! we will not accept any type of horse-play as far as treating people like shit or just being an ass-hole keep that in mind.

This stuff can be placed in your FAQ or in an "About Us" page. By having it in one of those places, the user will be able to read the latest content.

3. Try not to upscale images. It causes them to alias, making them look jaggy and blurry. If you can't find images big enough for your needs, try multiple images (ie. both the front and back box shots and manual) or take the single image and position it.

If you don't mind me asking, how are you designing this site? Are you coding it from scratch? Are you using a WYSIWYG Editor (ie. Dreamweaver, Kompozer, Frontpage, etc.)? Does Webs have a built-in site designer?

I think Its Built in, Im going to upgrade and Get my own name and Such I just wanted to make sure this is some thing I want to stick with. I have a habit of changing my mind.
