Light Gun Games Gunblade and LA Machineguns coming to Wii

It's good to see Sega still pandering to light-gun fans on the Wii. I assumed the rapid price drops of the HOTD games meant things were not going well, but I guess they are still selling enough to give us more shooting goodness.

All the fun of gunblade came from wielding that humongous shaking machine gun controller. It won't be as cool with the wiimote.

They actually have a Japanese gunblade arcade at a truck stop across the street from where I work.

I wasted $3 or so trying to beat it. It was old and fun as hell, but kind of a quarter eater.

I think I like Virtua Cop and House of the Dead better... BUT, it's still cool that something old school is being re-released in console form all the same. I'll check it out if I ever get a Wii.

Ill support any Sega Lightgun game on the Wii. Well until they give me a Virtua Cop collection. Once they do that, Ill have no reason to keep pushing, I love Virtua Cop.

Speaking of which...I had the wild idea of building wiimotes into Saturn Stunners. Since there are more light gun games coming out, I might go ahead and do it.

But my question is still, where is Point Blank? It is an obvious choice for the Wii.

GunBlade NY and LA Machineguns coming to Wii

Looks like Sega are continuing to release more of their light gun / rail shooter back catalogue on Wii.

I'm a huge lightgun game fan, and have all of the Sega titles to date (Ghost Squad, HotD2&3 Return, HotD Maximum Overkill). These two will make a nice addition.

HotD 4 still needs a release. I was hoping for some light gun games on the 360 but I guess it is not going to happen.
