Plug for Anime con in Raleigh, NC next month.

We will have 20+ arcade cabs with many more boards. Neo-Geo 4-slots, Capcom fighters, Konami beat'em-ups, Cave shooters, and more. For consoles we will have 5 projection screens(one dedicated to Saturn B-man), 10 LCD's setups with a mix of PS3, 360, Wii, PC and 5 good ole 13" CRT's for the retro section(2600, NES, SegaCD, Duo) . The tourney line-up is:

Fri:
5pm - Brawl, part 1*
8pm - MBAA
10pm - Tekken 6

Sat:
5pm - Brawl, part 2*
8pm - TvC
10pm - SSF IV
10pm - Rock Band

Arcade:
Magical Drop 3, Fri - 4
Samurai Shodown 2, Fri - 6
Windjammers, Sat - 4
Change Air Blade, Sat - 6
Muchi Muchi Pork - high score, Friday
Mushihime-sama Futari (BL) - high score, Saturday

Retro:
Donkey Kong (NES) High Score Challenge times to 4 PM- Midnight (daily)

We have 33% more space than last year, over 5000 sq/f! Same section of the convention center as last year, so no "I can't find it" excuses. If any RBers want to meet up, do it in the game room since you'll be there most of the con anyhow. You can meet Me and Mod_Man, and who ever else makes it.

PS: I've been of the forums for a spell do to job stuff, I hope to catch up soon.

That sounds like great fun. It reminds me of the late 90's, back when I still liked Japanimation. I commend you for the arcade cabinet line up. That is a bunch of sure crowd pleasers.

How much is it going to be?

Right now it's $50 at the door since I assume nobody pre-reg'd. It was $25 if you did it at last years con. And for those that have been to cons before, AZ had badge checks the entrances to the convention center but not the rooms. It's a bit harder to freeload now.
