I just saw the announcement today and I'm totally flipping out. Mainly because I'm a huge Castlevania fan and I'm finally going to be able to play Rondo of Blood (Original or Remade version) and not have to pay over $100 for one that is in Japanese. From what I've seen not many people really like or care about the PSP here, some would go on to say that I'm probably spending more in reality if I don't have a PSP, but I do, I got one for Christmas because I couldn't get a Wii, and I noticed how much better the library has gotten overall.
I say that if they can keep a good balance of old school and new school and perhaps another slight price drop, the PSP could get some more numbers cranking.
Anyone else excited about the Castlevania Title for PSP?

Hmm I'm not too keen on what I have seen so far.
I prefer the original music and graphics although I did like the camera panning when entering a room with a boss I'm not keen on the 3d graphics that I have seen so far. The character seems to move in a clunky mannor.
For me its a case of wait and see if the games are good remakes worth buying

Now if they indeed make it like this, then I would be a lot more interested, as games like that shouldn't be stretched, considering there is no need for it. They should be able to re work it a bit to get it to be widescreen. Dracula X rondo of blood would definitely be easy to make into a wide screen version, IMO, since it's completely linear in level movements (in that it's just left to right) last time I checked at least.neohx_7 wrote:Just being able to play SOTN in higher res widescreen (i hope) will be worth it.

EGM just confirmed yalls hopes. Itll be widescreen with all the new parts added and new (they say better) voiceovers. and they will be finishing the incomplete parts too(hidden ending track anyone?).
