My friend was just checking his Yahoo mail here and pointed this out to me. I told him these are not the kinds of games you're just going to have laying around in your closet.

I don't understand this whole ordering-promotional-cartridges-to-be-destroyed business. That's an absolutely ridiculous waste, whether they were meant to be of any actual worth or not. I mean, why not let some kids have the weird-ass cartridges so that they can have tournaments with their friends? I don't understand the rationality of ordering the destruction of the carts instead of just letting them be a weird novelty... they'll at least serve SOME purpose that way.
