There is one thing about southern california that sucks; everybody knows the Ebay value of something.
You will never find a really good deal on anything unless it's "hot". Which is not the situation here. I was browsing in my local mom and pop (the few left) and saw two boxed Sega Saturn Mission Sticks. I myself have never been a huge fan of flight sticks but my curiosity found out the are $15 each. I passed for the simple fact that I really didn't know what games would be really fun to play. But the other side when is the last time your going to see anything Saturn mint in box for under $20.
Help ...

Well if you're the type of person that would buy something to hold it for a few years, knowing that it'll increase in value, then I'd say go for it.

Why does everyone act like sega saturn accessories are worth their weight in gold?

Yeah, I'm not saying I would want to buy it just to sell it in the future. I just want to make sure I made the right decision and not get it.
Is the mission stick the must have accessory for the Sega Saturn? Like Nights and the 3D Pad, I can't imagine playing that game without it.

Only 15 dolah! Pinch yourself to wake up, snag them and contemplate use and value later.

A very good question. I've found that most are actually pretty cheap if you shop around just a bit. I got an official Sega Arcade Pad for $12. The guy had a case of them. I told everyone I knew and no on else was even interested.GamerMON wrote:Why does everyone act like sega saturn accessories are worth their weight in gold?

looks cool but as I don't have a Saturn myself, I can't think of alot of games that need it.

Let's see, the Mission Stick is great for Panzer Dragoon, Stellar Assault, GunGriffon, Night Striker S, Afterburner, Space Harrier... hell, it might even be good for Bulk Slash, although I wouldn't quote myself on that. If you play any amount of mech-action and flight simulation titles, then for $15, it would be recommended.
