Re: Mount&Blade Warband released!
I saw this on steam, what kind of game is it? The only description I saw was action rpg. Is it meant to be played on-line with a group of people, a solo rpg, or what?
Re: Mount&Blade Warband released!
I found it difficult trying to sum it up in a concise manner without going into too much detail. So I'll sum it up like this:
A very deep strategy game with very action-packed battles of epic proportions
Epic battles, unique combat system, lots of diplomacy, large armies, big empires...
You'd really have to play it to get a good idea.
Originally it was just Singleplayer, but this mod allows for multiplayer deathmatch-style matches - the multiplayer doesn't have a large overworld to explore and all the strategy involved in SP, but large field battles are there (many troops, many dead bodies, and a bunch of commands to use in battle).

First review of the game: http://www.gamersnexus.net/gamerev/25-p ... and-review
I'm glad to hear this: "Gold truly is the gift that keeps on giving in Warband."
Probably my biggest gripe with the original was how very difficult it was to gain gold. Even with a lot of gold, it was still a big task raising a good army.
On a side note, the makers of the game are working on a total conversion for M&B called With Fire and Sword. This is all I know about it: http://www.taleworlds.com/main.aspx (listed under Other Games)
