Who here can change a 3DO FZ-10 Battery?

Post by ReddMcKnight »

I'm afraid the battery in my FZ-10 is gonna die soon, and that would really suck. Can anyone change the battery, should I need it to be changed?

Don't change the battery if it's not necessary and check to make sure if your system uses a rechargeable cell or a regular battery.

If you replace a rechargeable cell with a regular battery it will explode as the system tries to recharge it so this is something important to check for.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

The CR2354 is not rechargeable which is what the unit uses.

When I took apart the FZ-10 I got in the mail a week ago, I discovered that the cell battery is in the front of the system. If you can open the system up by unscrewing the screws on the bottom, lifting the casing and using the right kind of battery, you should be able to do it yourself.
Currently playing: Fallout 3 and Namco Museum: Virtual Arcade (both 360)

Is it soldered in, or just a holder?
