My new gaming setup and collection.

Post by deadpixels »

A few months back my wife and I bought a house. Since then we've done some rearranging, and now almost every room has become a game room.

Some pics of the front room.

The family room has a 50'' Hitachi plasma with a Samsung 5.1 system. Most of my current gen gaming is done in here, and I've got a few more arcade cabinets in the room as well.

Lastly, I set up a man-cave in the basement with a 32'' Sony Trinitron for all of my old-school gaming needs. So far it's coming along pretty nicely. I currently have a region modded Playstation, Saturn, Neo Geo, Genesis, Dreamcast, Super NES, Jaguar, Turbografx 16, and NES hooked up to the TV, with plenty more systems packed away in boxes until I get some more shelving for that room.

What I'd give to come over and hang out there. That's a badass collection you've got on your hands.

Thanks guys I appreciate the kind words. I'll probably be moving the gameroom to a spare bedroom soon though, so expect it to change pretty soon. On the bright side, it'll give me room to get another candy cabinet and toss it in there.

The Neo and the Saturn are definitely two of my favorite systems. Gotta love 2D powerhouses.

I am jealous of your candy. :(

My dream to own a CvSNK2 candy cabinet will happen eventually though. 8)

Hey DeadPixel, great man cave!! I'd like to know which model Sony Trinitron your using? I'm looking for the best one.

Does it have a super fine pitch screen, or Hi-scan?
