Pretty neat, Seems almost as big as the Game Cube itself though. Just kidding, it is all in the portability. I would love to have a portable Game Cube to take on the road.

I like the way the screen lifts so you can put game in,and when he turned it over the gc logo lit up was a nice surprise.

In the words of Will Smith, "I gotta get me one of these!" Seriously, I would buy that in a heartbeat. The Gamecube is my second favorite console of all time [behind the Dreamcast], so I would absolutely love a portable 'Cube. I hope this guy releases a kit for this, or something. On a similar note, someone needs to dive back into GC homebrew, and make a HDD Loader; I know there are some emerging concepts for GC loading on the Wii, but I want to be able to fit it in the Gamecube! :D

Man, that's professional looking. It's quite clever how he implemented the analog trigger buttons. I need to find this guy's contact info and offer him lots of monies for this.

That looks really nice and that is a very cool way to deal with the triggers. :) I'd be worried about it being a fingerprint magnet though.

I wish there was a way of getting rid of that bulky laser assembly on the Gamecube. The motherboard is tiny compared to other systems. It would be ripe candidate for a portable. That optical drive is just huge though.

Hmmm... now you got me thinking; maybe instead of making the GC portable you make the Wii portable and install some kind of boot hack (like a modified BootMii) that will let you launch directly to the GC disc. I've got my Wii right next to my Gamecube, and based upon the sizes I wouldn't be shocked to find the Wii laser assembly is smaller. Or you might be able to graft the Wii laser onto the GC board, but then you're killing two consoles.
