The game is great, but I'm very upset right now.
For those who know the game, I was in the Ruby table with 10 000 000 000 in score (and probably a bit more when I lost that ball, as I had 50x bonus multiplier), and had managed to rack up enough extra balls that I had 7 in store. I was going to completely shatter my previous high-score, and perhaps even capture Latios (the only one left in the Ruby board). I go to the Kecleon Bonus with the Master Ball, and what happens? Somehow the ball gets stuck on that brown rock on the right side of the bonus table. I tilted the table a bit but the ball only jumped directly upwards regardless of the nudge I gave it, and then eventually the time elapsed and it's still stuck there. The invisible Kecleon continues to walk around the table, I can't use the flippers or nudge as the time elpses. Sometimes that Kecleon bastard passes through the ball and falls over with the distinct dust cloud of it falling over, but apparently he never gets the 2nd hit that would actually have a possibility of moving the ball out of the rock.
Really heart breaking for me... I had been playing that session for some days already (you can "save" at the end and resume).

Yeah this game is awesome. Extremely easy as far as pinball goes but the catch em all mechanic is sooo addictive. Screw real pokemon games I think they should all just be in pinball form.
I don't think there's anything you could do, maybe you could wiggle the cartridge so that it glitches and gives up the ball? What have you got to lose? You either glitch it and manage to get your ball, or your batteries run out hoping for something to happen. Can't you save the game and load it back up?

The Pinball games are the real Pokemon games.

I think I can save the game, go to the menu and try to select new game, or just turn it off without saving - I think that will let me play from the start so at least the game won't be messed up. It's just that I lost the "progress" and high-score I would get, and I had at least 4 hours into this session I think (and 7 balls to go! DAMN).
I already preferred the Sapphire table. I hate that I haven't got Latios yet so I'll have to play Ruby again. I got Latias twice somehow - I don't know if they only show up after you have caught X pokemon on that session, or if there's just a low probability. The reason I'm doubting is that I got Latias twice on the same session after I had caught several pokemon - of course it doesn't prove anything as it is just one instance, but that would fit with them being enabled after catching X.
If any of you ever caught one of these guys in a session where you only had caught a small number of pokemon that would prove it isn't enabled after catchign X.
BTW is the GBC Poke Pinball game about as good (obviously the graphics won't be so good, but physics and table design)?

Glad to know I'm not the only one that enjoyed the Pokemon pinball games. I only played the GBC one myself, but it was still kickin'.
Re: Pokemon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire - ball got stuck :(
The physics are just as bad and floaty as R&S in the GB version but it's still fun to play.

I'm a huge fan of the GBC Pokémon Pinball. I got it as a birthday gift and have played it on and off ever since. Very fun, though I much prefer the Blue table to the Red Table.
Re: Pokemon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire - ball got stuck :(
I think I mastered the Sapphire table. As far as I can tell, I can get to arbitrarily high score at my current skill level.
I'm currently up to over 33 000 000 000 points, from over 202 Pokemon caught and I have 9 balls stockpiled (maximum number).
Considering one starts with 2 or 3, it is fair to say that I can usually accrue them faster than I lose them once I'm stabilized. Not only that but when I (infrequently) actually lose a ball... I have 99 coins stocked up, so I can "stabilize" with the Pika powerup quickly (auto-saves when ball drains from side-lanes) as I can get it either on the HOLE slot (which is a bit random) or just purchase it on the Mart for 50 coins. After I stabilize it is just a bit of time to get back up to 99 coins (not even needed if I got the Pika from the HOLE slot) and get an Extra ball from the Mart and get back up to 9 extra balls stockpiled. Even if I lose a couple of balls in a row, which seems a bit unlikely, 9 extra balls gives me a hefty margin for error until I get back racking up Extra balls.
Basically, I think I'll lose on purpose to go to the Ruby table and try to get that sneaky Latios.

I enjoyed Pokemon Pinball on the GBC, and I always went with the blue table.
