Updates roster for dreamcast 2K2 games?

Post by Cabron »

Hello guys nice to see one of my favorite consoles still alive and kicking. I recently had to move some stuff from my parents house and found my old dreamcast collection, and I must say it kick butt! I especially enjoyed playing again Soulcalibur & NBA 2K2 (with rock solid and simple controls) but I was wondering if some enterprising individual or group like echelon had found a way to hack the code of the 2K2 games to somehow upgrade the rosters because those old sport games somehow feel like the glory days of the Genesis where anybody could be up and playing in a couple of minutes
Anyhelp would be more than welcome

As far as I know....no one has done this. I think people have really just started altering snes rosters within the last 5 years.

I don't see why it couldn't be done....but I think it would be very difficult.

If you're into wrestling (hell even if you're not they're still brilliant games) then Fire Pro Wrestling D for Dreamcast has a completely customizable roster. You can even use Dream Explorer to transfer a pre-made roster save if you don't want to do the work (I find doing it manually is half the fun, but I'm a little weird in that sense).

Of course it's all in Japanese but there's plenty of guides that have translated the menus so you can have a nudge in the right direction. Once you learn where things are it's pretty straight forward though.
