Xenoblade...any relation to Xenosaga?

So there is a game called Xenoblade coming to the wii. Is there any info out yet on any connection to the Xenosaga games or is it still too early to tell?

Wikipedia says yes, albeit indirectly. I mean, they don't flat out say it is, but they mention the series and the page is part of the Xenosaga series category.

And FYI, Xeno-, from the Greek word for "stranger", is a prefix that basically means "foreign, alien, stranger". And that's why xenophobia is the word for a fear of foreigners (as opposed to the less PC term, post-Bush Republican).

Why is everyone calling Monando, Xenoblade? I thought thats just what its called in Japan. I am exicted for the game it looks pretty cool. Knowing its part of the Xeno world makes me want it more.



On a side note it seems telling someone not to talk about politics polarizes a thread. The only real response had a little political reference for homuor, and the rest of the post just were talking about the person who reperminded him.

I've never heard of it either, but it looks like it's only going to have the xeno title because Tetsuya Takahashi is working on it.
Arc Rise Fantasia looks like a good RPG for the Wii though, and, in a few years I guess, Dragon Quest X will be excellent I'm sure.

Xenosaga had some clues about Xenogears but Takahashi wrote all philosophy stuff about each game and i think Xenoblade will be like that
