Yes, it's very impressive. Give me hope that in the future when all the DC drives are dead we'll still be able to play these games. Now we really need one for the Saturn too.

That's just plain awesome. So, when is the SD cable going to be available? Or, is it already?

I am more interested in copying games directly from the original GD-Roms :) But yeah, it can revive many "dead" Dreamcasts too :)

And this is just the beginning..I think we will see this in the future, just give it some time :)

Well, you still have to boot from a CD first....

But this is very cool -- too bad you can't flash the BIOS to boot the loader automatically and then have a nicer interface.

Could you book from a HD instead of a SD? Would be easier and more cost effective if you wanted to have a larger game library onhand.

In theory you could replace the BIOS with a hacked bios that would load from SD directly. It would require desoldering the old chip and replacing it though.

Also, in theory you could use an HDD instead of SD but that would require more electronics. I think in the future large SD drives will be cheap enough that it's not really necessary.

I suppose... and I guess I have more spare SD cards now than I do hard drives...

I think the question is, does it with work with SDHC cards? IF not then that's quite a limitation.

However, what i'm most interested in is if it boots full GDISOs IE those ones that haven't had anything ripped out or resampled/transcoded to fit on a 700MB CDR. I would love to be able to play Skies of Arcadia with a VGA but I simply refuse to buy another copy just because the PAL version doesn't support it and all the rips suck.
