And now it won't turn on. I put it in(http://vpgames.com/p-3648-sony-ps2-repl ... ion-2.aspx), and the lights do not turn on (the Power/Reset one). Pressing them does nothing either. I had a hackneyed one I made from the broken one, but that didn't work...
Do you guys have any suggestions?
PS - This is a SCPH-30001 model with no IR port, but 2 USB ports and 1 S400 port (V4). Right now, both shells are off, and AFAIK, all cables are connected.

Well, I'll try a different direction, but it is still very straight.
Edit: I think it may not be going in deep enough....
Edit two: nope, still nothing - any other suggestions?
Edit three: Well, I just ordered a new power switch because I think I fried it when trying to fashion my own power ribbon...
