Apparently it's being published by Hudson. I figured we'd get it eventually but I'm really excited now that it's confirmed.

Gotta love that "it was developed for Japanese PC's" comment.
lol
Anyway, wasn't this already confirmed about a month or so ago? I think I saw the story over at vcnintendolife.

NO FUCKING WAY!!!!
When they released it on Castlevania Dracula X Chonicles, that's why I bought a PSP. But playing it on the little screen didn't cut it for me. I'm so glad to hear that it's coming to VC! I can't wait!

You guys are about 2 years late to the party.
From the article:
Why is he surprised about Hudson publishing this? Hudson is the company behind the PC Engine (Super CD-ROM), which is what this game is for. Konami was the 3rd party developer and publisher for Rondo of Blood on Hudson's game system. Also, Hudson is owned by Konami. In essence, Konami is publishing this.
Japanese PCs? WTF!?!
From the article:
I think the guy who wrote this doesn't know much about gaming in general....It has been revealed that Hudson of all publishers is bringing Castlevania: Rondo of Blood to the Wii's Virtual Console some time soon...
...Rondo of Blood was the tenth Castlevania game in the series, originally created for Japanese PCs...
...If you want to know what it plays like, then you don't know much about Castlevania...

I actually bought CDXC for what I considered to be the best version of Symphony of the Night, which I love(see my avatar). For me, Dracula X was the bonus, not the other way around. The remake is pretty awesome though, and still makes Dracula X Chronicles worth playingZiggy587 wrote:NO FUCKING WAY!!!!

Good news for me. I would like to buy this game for my PC Engine but it's been selling for absurd prices on ebay. Maybe now the price will start to come down.

Yes, whoever wrote this isn't too well versed in PC Engine history. LOL at "Japanese PC's".
This game is the main reason I've always wanted a Turbo Duo. I've played it on an emulator but I got stuck on Death. I played DXC and got stuck on Death! This is one of the only "old school hard" games that I'm willing to practice enough to beat.

There is an extra battle with Dracula that I think is exclusive to Dracula X:Chronicles. It is EPIC!!!!!! That alone makes the whole package worth owning.Ramatut4001 wrote:Yes, whoever wrote this isn't too well versed in PC Engine history. LOL at "Japanese PC's".

The collector in me would love to have the original PC Engine version of Rhondo, but I think with TWO versions of it on DX:Chronicles and an improved Symphony of the Night, DX:Chronicles makes all other versions of Rhondo and Symphony of the Night irrelevant. It is the ultimate Castlevania package

It is quite the compilation and it's very cheap. It can be downloaded on PSN for $15 and Amazon has the UMD for $13.56 right now.Gamerforlife wrote:There is an extra battle with Dracula that I think is exclusive to Dracula X:Chronicles.
