Post by thegeckoj »

anybody down to go in and do the bioshock 2 four pack deal. it includes bioshock 2 plus a copy of the original on steam.

33.75 for the original and 2 is pretty smokin. let me know if anybody is interested and we can set something up.

I would sort of be interested but I already own the first one and I'd rather have a hardcopy but good luck with this. Sounds like a good deal for anyone who does not care about owning a hardcopy.

Be warned that it's against ToS to do this. So if you get caught you can get banned from Steam for it.

I deleted my Steam account already because I was sick of their bloatware running in the background.

I always close Steam with the tray icon when I'm not playing and don't let it run at startup. No problem there.

And while I understand why Steam would have this in place so as to limit any profitability on the end users part, it doesn't make much sense for anyone to simply buy a 4 pack of games and not have something on the side...be it a "scratch my back I'll scratch yours" approach or one which the OP suggested.

Yes, I'm just forewarning that it is in the ToS. That's not to say it's impossible. It's highly improbable that you would get banned, since if you trade outside of ebay or something like they won't be able to trace it anyway, unless somebody dobs you in.

Just saying, keep it hush...

Yeah I had that problem a few years ago, but since then they've really improved the performance of their client. Just curious, but when was the last time you were on steam? I used to HATE Steam, but they won my heart over by solving most of the crashing problems, slow download connection problems and bloatware problems.

I thought this was legit - that he was looking to take advantage of this:

4 copies of each game (3 of each to gift) for $135 is a good deal.
