Favorite Pinball Machine?

Post by J T »

One of my favorites was always "The Black Knight". I played this quite a bit as a kid.

I love the upper and lower deck design and the whole idea that you're dueling the black knight.

I also spent a lot of time on Addams Family Pinball. Great sound effects on this one. I loved how Thing would come out of his box and pick up your pinball for multiball bonuses.

I unfortunately don't get to play much pinball(haven't in a long time), though one of the guys I know at Auburn University was nothing short of amazing at Twilight Zone pinball. Like, good enough that he was apparently in the runnings for world's highest score on it. You'd walk into the arcade, and he'd be playing it. Nothing short of awesome.

Twilight Zone and Doctor Who are my two favorite. But if I could have any of them, Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark. It might not be the best table, but it has style.

High Speed was the first pinball machine that I really played a lot, as such it will probably stick as my favorite since one doesn't see them often anymore.

Actually if any of yall know alot about pinball there is one I use to play at a campsite we use to go to long ago. It was an old mechanical one, easily from the 40s/50s. As you played there were small toy cars that would race down the sides of the play area and you could bet on who you thought was going to win by flinging your ball into a specific hole. I do remember the entire thing being white.

I dont remember the table being terribly good, but I would love to know which one it was.
