Fastest way to get a Dingoo in my hands.

Post by corn619 »

After doing some research on this site and others I've decided to get a Dingoo. I'd like to get it fast and while there cheap, http://www.dealextreme.com takes forever. Anyways, can anyone suggest a reputable merchant to buy one that ships from the U.S? I don't mind paying a little extra to get it in my hands faster. All the ones on ebay ship from Hong Kong and Amazon doesn't specify shipping location. Just looking to get one fast, cheap and from someone reputable, thanks in advance.

I got mine from http://www.thinkgeek.com. Do a google search and you can find lots of coupon codes for the site. I think I got mine for $89 shipped after using a coupon code.

This topic title sounds dirty.

I actually really want a Dingoo, but I'll settle for my DS for portable emulation for now. I've spent way too much money on gaming lately.

You could wander around with a well basted baby. Surely that would net you several.

From a collector standpoint would love a Dingoo too. But having a DS and PSP seems kinda overkill to get one.
Consoles: NES, Famicom, SNES, GC, GB DMG, GB Pocket, GBC, GBA, DSI XL, N64, VBoy, NDS, 3DSXL, Wii, SMS, GEN+CD+32X, GG, SAT, DC, WS, WS Color, NGPC, XBOX, 360, PS1, PSone, PS2, PSP, PS3, 3DO, CD-I, NGCD, Actionmax, TG16+CD, TE, PCE-DUO, Odyssey2, Playdia, 2600, Lynx & JAG.

Yeah after reading more about the less than stellar SNES emulation "which was the reason I wanted one" I think I'm gonna hold off for now. I own a DSi and CFW PSP as well and overkill would be a accurate word to use.

The SNES is a bit better than CFW PSP in Dingux's emu, but if that's your main reason I wouldn't bother. I'm still undecided on whether I'll get a Pandora, but seeing the doublespeed Chrono Trigger, NullDC, and no-frame-loss N64 running on it really makes me want one.

How is the Dingux SNES emulation? I've read that its way better than the Dingoos built in emulators. Theres a lot I like about the Pandora and theres a lot I don't like too. The website seems kinda shady, and makes me think twice before I plunk $300.00 and a system that may not even exist. I want to see the build quality of one and games in action before I pay all that money. So I'm gonna wait a year or so until the next best thing comes out and maybe that will be the Pandora.
