Steam has released their latest data report about what their users' PCs look like. I always find this interesting to know what the average user's machine looks like:

For those of you that don't know how to quickly check your own specs, go to Start --> Run --> type cmd --> type dxdiag and read through the info in the tabs of the window that pops up.

If you have steam installed and want to see what you reported again, launch it and click help > system information.
If you want more information about your PC for actual troubleshooting purposes, go fetch SIW. The standalone one works great from a USB stick if you're stuck troubleshooting for family.

I'm well ahead of the average Steam user it appears and I built my system 18 months ago...
Looking to upgrade at some point, once I sell this system, going to buy an i7 system with a HD5870.
