Is it my Wii?

Post by classicgamer5 »

I bought a new Wii about a wekk ago and just now decide to play Wii Sports and...It wont work. All of my other games work perfectly. I wonder if its my Wii ( I used to have a PS2 that wouldn't play MGS2, not even a brand new one) or my game? Anyone else have this problem?

Sometimes my Wii would give me trouble with GH3, but not any other games. It's weird stuff. I'm not sure why this happens.

Never had it happen on any games. The weirdest thing I had happen was moving my old wii to the downstairs tv and having the sound not work which was later on figured out to just be my being stupid dealing with how the setup is down stairs.

Try to clean the disc or have it resurfaced...other than that...dont know

The disk is brand new, I just opened it yesterday. Would resurfacing help it anyway?

an update to play a game that was released in 2006 with the system? It might work, not sure. If anyone wants the game, pay shipping and its yours

I got a Wii around launch time and Wii Sports came in a little cardboard case, is that how yours was?

Mine gave an error message also so I called Nintendo thinking something was wrong with the Wii, but it turned out that it was actually a common problem for the Wii Sports disc to get scratched in the cardboard case. They shipped me a new one for free.

Mine was in a cardboard case but looks perfect, no marks at all. I also put it in a jewel case, manual in front like ps1 games and I cut out the back piece of cardboard and put it in the back of the case.
