Mod action needed for nesabelle

Post by gtmtnbiker »

Mod action is needed to cleanup the 2 posts by the user "nesabelle". Both posts have been reported before but they have not been cleaned up.

The issue is that when people respond to them the topic will roll over to the next poster. I have deactivate the account, banned the ip, and changed the information on his account so, like Henry, he will be a floating topic.

you know you can PM someone about this right, making a thread is just...annoying

As I mentioned before, the "report this post" function didn't seem to cause the necessary moderator action.

I thought I did a clear subject: line thereby helping other users to skip over the top if it wasn't of interest to them.

Yes, I could send a PM. It's not easy to just send it to a moderator group. It seems that one has to search for all members of a certain class and then add them to the To: line.

Not sure which method the forum moderators prefer.

About 50 weeks of the year I am idling in the forums during the hours - 0900-1800 EST. There are some days I get more time in them than not, but overall I watch them to get rid of spam posters. Flag the post and it should be taken care of within an hour or so (within reason ofcourse - some hours more of us are on than others). I have no comment about the hours after work since I typically only check a handful of sites once I get off of work.

IF there is something that has set for many hours and not been taken care of PM myself or one of the other moderators and we will get it taken care of as quickly as we can. I will admit I do not look at BST frequently so I often miss the "threadcrapping" that happens there until much to late - Less temptation to buy things I dont need the better.

I should add that for some reason my account is always logged in as invisible. I havent figured out why either.
