Franchises that should have never continued

Post by hiphophead34 »

OK so I was watching this show on VH1 about biggest shockers in music history and of course they talked about MJ, Marvin Gaye, Kurt Cobain,etc.... and how much more of an impact they could have had if they lived longer.
Well I got to thinking what if MJ had died in the 80's. He would haver never gone through all the hoopla he did in later life and people would have a greater respect for him. Well what video game franchises would have been better off left dead in their heyday as opposed to continuing on? I could think of a few what about you guys?

Crash f*cking Bandicoot.

God damnit.

It was like Crash 1-3, AMAZING, Crash Team Racing, AMAZING, Crash Bash, ok kinda cool, Crash 4, not bad, and then an explosion of garbage.

I blog about games and art. Usually both at once. Check it out at your own risk.

I want to say sonic, but maybe they can turn him around with a new 2d title. Tony hawk games, after pro skater 3.

I wish they would discontinue pokemon video games, movies, and tv series. There so many movies and the tv show has gone a bit of a loop hole. I want to see a pokemon game on wii instead of DS versions. I stop playing pokemon gold because that was the end for me. Don't get me started with street fighter games. too many remakes for me to play and spend.

Spyro. Sort of went down the same way as Crash Bandicoot.

There are also a couple series of sports games that I feel this way about.
