Question about FC Twin

Hi sorry if this is the wrong board for this but if any one could help that would be great. I am looking into getting one of these FC Twin consoles and was wondering if any one knew if they worked in the UK? and if they worked on a HD LCD TV. Do they play carts from PAL regions.

Also is there a SNES clone that has a few games on it similar to the Sega Mega Drive and Master System ones you get.
Any help would be great

* It is the wrong board. You want Technical Help.
* Glad to hear it, but there's a new one that plays NES, SNES and Genesis carts. It also apparently has better compatibility.
* They use RCA output (Red/Yellow/White) if that helps any.
* I heard they do, but look like shit. Like zooming in on a low-rez image to a higher-rez.
* I don't know if they do.
* No, but they do have a portable Super NES out.

Also, I once tried to play Donkey Kong Country to work on my FC Twin and it didn't boot up. Maybe the cart was bad or whatever.

I didn't think it even existed, except as those portable custom homebrew hacks that people, like the infamous Ben "Heck", have created out of SNES, or SNES compatible clones.

But then I fired up Google, and almost immediatley stumbled upon this glorious beast:

I would definitely go with a Retro Duo over the FC Twin if you're getting a clone system. It has better NOAC compatibility, works with more SNES carts and comes with an s-video port built in.

This is true, the retro duo is better than the fc twin. But the retro duo still sucks. It is not a good nes clone,(can't use nes accesories, the pin is broken easily) If you want a snes clone it is good, it can play many ntsc games and quite a few pal games but it also has trouble with quite a few pal games. Check here for compatiblity list

It is good if you are going to use it ntsc games, but alot of good pal titles are not compatible with it.
I think just getting the original console is best.

I would not know about the fc3 plus. I don't think the compatibility would be any better, than the fc twin. One of these systems would be great, but I really think using the original system is better. Alot of these clones can't use the consoles controllers. The retro duo can use snes controllers, not nes controllers. The fc3 plus uses a sega genesis like controller, however you cannot use a sega genesis or snes or nes controller so you are stuck with a generic controller.
Op should consider buying a retro duo over an fc twin.
