I am looking for a good place to get some video game sprites of comic book characters that span all different generations of consoles.
In 2010 at my site I am going to start a "together retro" type of thing called "Print-N-Pixels" and it will focus on different comic book based video games. Every week I will post up something new about the game, its relationship to comics, and maybe some other opinions...
So, can anyone point me into a good site with a wide range of sprites?
Thanks.
Oh, and if you are wondering I think I'll start off with X-Men the arcade game in January (or Feb, depending on when I start.)

Re: Sprites
I know there's a site with customs, but that's probably not what you're looking for and I can't remember the name anyway at the momeht. But perhaps this one might be useful.

Re: Sprites
Thanks for the help everyone. Instead of using premade sprites, I made my own.

I will replace the "window" of the box every month with the title screen or pixles of the game I will be playing, writing about, and discussing.

Yeah I was gonna say, I'm sure you have an emulator, it's not that hard to turn off the background layers and print scrn some sprites. It's capturing all the sprites and animating them in the right order that's a pain in the ass.
