Seems much better than the Tototek ones, as it reads CompactFlash, doesn't use parallell ports or USB for power.
It's unavailable, but apparently it will be available tomorrow for $125

I'm really tempted to get one, anyone else feeling brave?

Re: A new SNES Flash Cart
I think this was actually already mentioned last week.
I ordered mine and it shipped yesterday, hopefully i'll be getting mine soon
.
I bought this guys NES flash cart and it works absolutely perfectly.
However, for people thinking about buying, just know there has been some recent complaints about this flash cart. Apparently it doesn't work at all with the mini-SNES's. It's working perfectly with NTSC model 1 snes's but i'm not sure about PAL. He says there is a possible fix for these problems in the future but as it stands now there isn't, so buyer beware.

Re: A new SNES Flash Cart
Well, the site says that it doesn't work with the minis (possibly after complaints were made) but it will work on clones. Please tell us how it works for you once you get it

Too bad there's a lot of games that require special chips to work. The thing's still worth its weight in gold though.

Re: A new SNES Flash Cart
If you have an NTSC boxy snes and don't want to play SuperFX or the advaced RPG games then go for it. Make sure to get the DSP chip added.
It's got basically the same compatibility list as the Chinese ones and is quite pricey. That said, pretty cool cart.

Here is the email he sent me after I placed my order about 2 weeks ago.
"After a week of feedback and debugging, the SNES PowerPak is now working much better with early revision consoles. The problem of black screens has been solved. This means any system in the original case style will work great.
Unfortunately there is some hardware difference in the second case style, the SNES mini. There is a small possibility of a software fix later but for now it is on the incompatible list and will not run any games. If you want to cancel your order because of this, please contact me asap!
Thanks for being patient, always interesting to see what issues appear that made it through testing. Orders will resume now!

Just did a video review of the cart! Pretty awesome! I'm loving mine!

Re: A new SNES Flash Cart
I was at the Digital Press forums the other day and there was a thread there about a few other games that didn't work well with the PowerPak, the game Jeopardy in particular. But I'm sure it works perfectly with most of the others. (I haven't gotten one yet, so I'm going by what everyone else says!Dylan wrote:http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... &sk=t&sd=a

Re: A new SNES Flash Cart
Just bumping this to see if anyone had any other info or experiences with this flash cart. Anyone tried it in an FC-16 Go?
