'No More' Wii exclusivity?!

Post by HellHammer »

I came across THIS and THISTHINGHERE and then THISONETOO...And have come to accept that No More Heroes is to be ported and is going multiplatform.

I've loved NMH since it's release and I feel like it's one of the only games that is actually suited for the Wii's control scheme. I wouldn't want the game to suffer over control issues on other consoles.

On the other hand, I want my 360 and PS3 owning friends to have a chance to play an exceptional game that they've been hearing me yap about for so long.

So, what do you think? Are you pissed?

It seems it is already confirmed.

I honestly didn't care much for the game to begin with, but I may give it a rental. "No Motion Controls" has me interested, and "Very Sweet Mode" has me even more interested.

agreed. The second i have to waggle in place of a button press i lose interest. I have no more heroes, but i never got into it. In fact, there isn't a whole lot of wii games that I've gotten into.

I don't think I'm the demographic for nintendo anymore.

I basically feel the same way about No More Heroes exclusivity on other platforms. I will still play it on the other platforms regardless. It's disappointing but I was guessing it was inevitable since it can reach a larger market than just on the Wii. I still have a preference to the series on the Wii due to the control scheme being one of the only games I enjoy playing with Wiimote controls. 8)

This baffles me. I think NMH might be the only game I felt was actually improved with it's motion control. It's not perfect by any means, but come on...the Wii remote makes for an awesome 'sword'. And since you only use the 'swing' to finish people off, it felt even better..or not over used, rather.
I wonder just how much difference it'll have on the game overall, having played the original and then playing again without motion control...guess we'll see!

Also, I can't wait for the 360 vs. PS3 better looking port debates.
