Ah, dumbass.
Not paying attention on the phone, check. Didn't turn off car before sucking down saltwater, check. 'Escaping' from 2 feet of water', check. I'm not sure how you escape from 2 feet of water unless you're locked in a cage that's only 1/5 feet tall.

Re: Moron drivers and their money soon part
*Sigh*The Veyron’s powerful engine gurgled like an outboard motor for about 15 minutes before it died.
He didn't turn the car off? dumbass. People like these shouldn't be allowed to own a car that is 1 in 200 ever made. This is a lesson to everyone who already doesn't know: If you get a phonecall in your car, either don't pick it up or pull over to answer, unless it is an emergency.
Just....*sigh*
Got: Atari 2600, Atari 7800Pro, Commodore 64, Odyssey 2, Sega Master System, NES, Genesis Models 1-3, Nomad, Game Gear, Sega CD Model 1, Sega 32x, SuperNES, GameBoys, GameBoy Pocket, GBC, Sega Saturn Model 2, GBA, Nintendo 64, Playstation, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 2 Slim, Nintendo DS Lite, Xbox 360, Gamecube, PS3 Slim

Those cars are not really meant to be driven on a normal basis. You don't go around looking at real state on one of those. 200 made, that's a museum piece.
Thanks everyone...

Re: Moron drivers and their money soon part
I find this saddening from a car lover perspective, but at the same time quite hilarious. As stated, this isn't a car you just cruise around in going to look at real estate. The part about "escaping" from 2ft of water (look at the picture, the water doesn't even go up to the window) is also amusing. This car should have stayed/been used on a track...
Re: Moron drivers and their money soon part
If I had 2 million to drop on a car I'd sure as hell drive it.
If I had a Veyron I would drive it to pick up my dry cleaning.

Ooh, and another one to shoot scorn at. I mean seriously, that's a big list, plus wrecking a car that there only exist 2 of?

Almost brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?
While we are on the topic of motor vehicles, does it really irk anyone else when someone refers to a car as an investment? Drives me nuts, especially in commercials: "Make the smart investment in a Honda Civic". Ugh. There are always a few exceptions, but cars are not investments.
Little rant over.

Many things are not 'investments' as they are called. But yeah, I know what you mean.Luke wrote:Almost brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?
