My brother was addicted to RuneScape for a while. Thankfully he got over it.

Me me me! I like playing the old school and classic versions (http://www.rsclegacy.com), not the latest versions by Jagex.

I remember playing this game back in high school when it first came out. Started with only 1 world and about 300 people when I was playing. It got big really fast and there were multiple worlds and thousands of people.

Then they made a lot of changes, the one I hated the most was the designated fighting area in the woods, and I grew tired of it pretty quickly.

My friends tried to get me into runescape back in middle school, I never really liked it. I was more of a EQ/EQ2 type of person. :)

I'm just about to enter high school now but I was addicted to runescape from 1st to 6th grade. Luckily I got off it, I spent so much time on it. My friend still plays from time to time. I had a level 82 account when I quit :D

They've come out with a runescape 3 now and theyve messed up all the trading so that items can only be sold for a certain amount. And now they have all pking worlds and more challenge arena areas. Some are just pointless though

I always thought it was a bad UO with levels. I played it for a short time but gave up on it. Same with FLYFF, Silk Road, Road to Egypt, and a dozen or so other MMORPGs from the late 90s to mid 2000s.

i used to play flyff like a fiend. quit after realizing its flaws. the only free game i will retain good memories from is Knight online, since alot of my good friends played too plus some of the skills and glitches were crazy fun. (being able to teleport your party member into a high level area is beautiful for the first time).
