[Xbox] From softmod to bigger HDD

I tried xboxhdm, as far as i can go before locking the hdd [last step] is "drive is frozen, please check bios and remove automatic detection".

any help here?

The only problem I had with swapping out my xbox Hard drive was I forgot to set the jumpers to Cable select, This might be your problem?

It sounds pretty self explanatory to me. Go into your PCs bios and disable automatic detection on whatever IDE channel the drive is connected to.
