Saturn Bomberman 10-players

Post by Breetai »

Yup. Saturn Bomberman is sometimes considered the best version of Bomberman ever made, mainly due to its 10-player mode (and the ability to play as Bonk and Kabuki-den).

Currently, I've got 2 multi-taps (a Sega model and a Hudson Bomberman model) and can easily get a bunch of controllers. I'm curious; if I were to put together a Saturn Bomberman package with 10 controllers, 2 multi-taps, the Saturn console itself and the Saturn Bomberman game, would anyone be interested in buying? If so, at what price point? This would be shipped from Japan.

Also, white or grey Saturn?

I like the sound of it (though I don't have the money). But I suspect that all that stuff, especially the console, would make shipping crazy expensive.

If the price is right I might buy it to just have a second set (I have 13 Saturn controllers right now - 10x model 2, 2x model 1, 1x 3rd party - Sega Multitap and Bomberman Multitap). But ofcourse you have to go with a White Saturn. It would be killer to have a White Saturn with Bomberman eyes on it.

I paid alot more than I am going to admit for my setup - well the Saturn was $200, but the for the last four controllers I just bought a lot on ebay - two saturns, four controllers.

What is your ballpark for shipping? Also what kind of controllers - if they are all model 2s I am sure more than a few would be interested.

Let me know if you still have that Hi-Saturn you mentioned a while back. I will buy it with a quickness. I am not about to drive all the way to Morioka to get one.

Here's what I've got together so far. Of course, I've also got the regular grey Sega multitap and get easily get a few more controllers if someone wants to go for the full 10-players.

Shipping will probably be in the $40-50 range for full insurance/tracking/fast delivery.
