Adding Stereo audio to a MONO Genesis 3?

I just picked up a mono Genesis 3 for $5 today and want to know if it's possible to modify it for true L/R Stereo audio, NOT Dual L MONO audio.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

Found this for one of the board revisions which might help. Halfway down there's a picture showing L/R, but apparently you'd have to build an amp circuit for the right side. :(
