Ahh clean
Nothing like a fresh batch of clean sleeves straight out of the dishwasher, eh guys?

Nah, I have heated drying turned off. Now they're not being blasted around by water they're spaced out on both racks and I'm letting them dry overnight.

Re: Ahh clean
It's awesome that you posted this.
My friend was over today and had a 'nasty hankering to play some original Nintendo'. Cut to five minutes later, after raiding some boxes in my garage, we played the hell out of Monster Party and The Jackal (which was also coincidental, as I very soon after discovered an article about a possible remake), and it was during that ordeal that I realized the majority of my NES sleeves were so filled with dust, it might have been better to leave the carts naked.
Needless to say, I'm going to have to steal this idea.

Re: Ahh clean
I put them all in the top rack facing down and put my plastic cutting board on top so they'd stay put instead of getting blown around and ending upside down filled with water. I also just put a tiny bit of detergent and ran the shortest cycle with the heated drying off. Once done I spread them out on both racks and they're sitting with the door open so they'll dry out.
I'd gotten a batch of 20 sleeves before and cleaning out the dusty insides took a while. I wasn't looking forward to doing a batch of 63. I figured it was amusing and useful, so I posted it. Glad someone will get more than just a laugh out of it.

You can do that? I'm doing it tonight. *Must remember....No heat dry.

Re: Ahh clean
Fantastic idea. I need to try that!
Now I'm wondering what else I can safely clean in the dishwasher.

Dishwasher is also a method to clean PCB's. Though _I've_ never been so brave, nor had any boards >that< dirty.
