Playing Guardian Heroes

Post by nightwalker »

I got two saturns. One model two round buttons with a modchip (from racketboy worikin fine thx :D ) and a model 1 64 pin. I play the backup games using the swap trick. But when I try to play guardian heroes it only plays the movie of the intro but the games doesnt start. Do I need a memory cart or something? Or am I doing something wrong? Taromaru works fine with the swap trick and Radiant silvergun also.

Any help would be very apreciated.

If you are using a mod chip, why use the swap trick?

The best thing to do would be download the game from a new source. You might have a bad rip.

import cart

Post by alexkidd »

you should get a 4 in 1 import cart. It's only around 30 bucks and it will protect your investment by making your modded Saturn last longer, plus you get cheats and lots of backup memory for saving games. Plus its just less of a hastle when trying to get games to work like you're describing. Not to sound preachy, just trying to save you some time and headaches from my own trials and experience.

Well I use the swap trick because the model 1 is in my gf house and the model 2 is in my apt. So I aint gona try to do a mod on that model 1 because you got to do a lot of soldering and besides I dont play that much at my gf house just Sundays.... I guess hehe. I just wanted to know if I did something wrong but I havent tried using the ram cart maybe Ill try that one.

Anyway thx for the help.

I have a saturn at my girlfriend's place too haha. I actually got her hooked on Saturn Bomberman, we haven't tried Guardian Heroes yet but that was next in my plan to get her hooked.

My gf kinda agressive she only plays street fighter or other brawlers. If you want to get her hooked what worked for me was the original tetris. From that point on (hehe) she was on the dark side. lol
