I haven't priced these lately but this sounds reasonable.

EDIT: Guess not. It looks like they are only about $11 shipped on ebay.
USB Saturn pads
Re: USB Saturn pads
Most the ones I see on ebay are not the official ones.
Re: USB Saturn pads
No telling if these ones are official or not. The site is a Chinese seller so make of that what you will.

Re: USB Saturn pads
There are a lot on Ebay that are unofficial. The ones that are official tend to go for about $20-$25 shipped. The link you provided appears to be an official one as best I can tell from the images.

Re: USB Saturn pads
Check this out.
Sega is starting its own online service similar to gametap, so for $15 you get a free usb saturn pad and a 3 month subscription to the site. The only difference I can find is that it says "play sega" on the controller instead of just "sega".
Here is a link to the article Destructiod.com published about it yesterday.

Hopefully that will help you out.

Also, PlaySEGA's been around for awhile, it just hasn't been advertised well.

What is the point of pointing out that it was already posted? I didnt start a new thread, the post I made was relevant to the TC's question. I was merely pointing out that if the TC wanted an official Saturn pad (FROM SEGA) that he could sign up for the service above and get one.
Save your Elitist attitude for someone that is cluttering the boards, not someone that is trying to help.

All GSZX1337 was trying to say was that Play Sega has been around for awhile, as you had said that they were just starting up; he was also trying to prevent you from starting an extra thread in the event that you wanted to make a higher profile announcement of it to the rest of the forum.
You're a newer member here so I'll cut you some slack, but please don't insult someone who's simply trying to correct a simple error in a polite manner (calling them an Elitist etc...) or I'll have to issue you a formal warning.

Like he said, all I was trying to say was that there's already a thread about the controller, so it's not new news (that sounds weird). Also, the controller isn't shipping out until Mid November. Lastly, there's no pictures or reviews of the controller so it's not really a viable option unless you want to play the Waiting Game (I'd rather play Pictionary).

Re: USB Saturn pads
What error was there for GSZX1337 to correct? Like I mentioned, I didnt create a new thread (I try to search for a topic before creating a redundant thread), my respond was relevant to the TC's question, I wasnt going to create a new topic, GSZX1337 had no evidence that I was going to, so he couldnt have been "preventing" me from doing so. All I was doing was just trying to help the TC find an official Sega USB Saturn pad. Members shouldnt think that all new comers are going to flood the boards with redundant threads. If I had a history of doing so then I could understand him telling me not to. However, instead of sticking my nose in the air and just posting a link to the already created topic, I merely reposted what the original topic said. That is all. Are we never supposed to repost info from previous threads? Are we expected to just post a link to an old thread instead of just being the nice guy and go ahead provide them with the info? Not every one scours the boards for any shred of info before posting a new topic. Should they? Maybe. But should people that dont want to just post a link to an old thread be treated like jerks? No.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:Ok, you need to calm down.
