Rest in Peace Mario

Post by fastbilly1 »

Captain Lou Albano passed away today - he was 74 years old.

For those who do not remember he was Mario in the Live Action sections of the Super Mario Super show. He taught a generation how to "Do the MARIO!" He will be swinging his arms from side to side forever.

Oh damn. Seriously?

Later tonight, I think I will do the Mario while weeping.

I have some fond memories of that show. I never knew the actor who played Mario was old enough to be 74 now.

Been a wrestling fan for as long as I can remeber. I only watched a documentary on the Captain last week. Im not old enough to have seen him live at ringside (I cant remember when he managed the Headbangers although I definately remember them, but from what i've seen on recordings he was a credit to the business. R.I.P
I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long.

He should be observed with a moment of silence. Then a moment of shouting.

I just hope he's doing the Mario with Jesus in heaven.

D'oh!

I'm so used to that category being Shenmue 3 rumors and discussions of what older games are being released on WiiWare/XBLA/PSN that I forgot it existed.
