I've been watching this one for awhile now. Looks like it's finally out. Arcade only and so far Japan only. I really wish they would port this and bring it out in the States!
As you can see, the game controls are similar to Outtrigger in that you use a left handed stick to move and a right handed mouse to look/shoot. The game also sports a touch screen to choose loadouts, positions and options.

Re: [Arcade] Border Break
I heard about this one a while ago (the first of the RingEdge games - Dreamcast 2 go, go, go!). I haven't been a fan of the few mech arcade games I played in Japan, but this one looks promising.
Interesting to see a mouse in an arcade title. If it proves successful, it could open up the possibility for a lot of different kind of arcade titles.

If you can have a keyboard in an arcade game I see no reason why a mouse wouldn't work as well.

Your first link is missing the "h".
Game doesn't look very fun.

I don't know I think it looks awesome. I watched a couple other game play videos and it would get a couple bucks from me.

I bet its hyper technical and rewards infinite replay. In other words its very Japanese and I would like to give it a try

The control scheme sure looks technical:

Eh it makes sense to me. I would love to give this machine a few of my coins. Game looks really fun. Reminds me a lot of UT2004 Onslaught mode or SW:Battlefront. If was a rich person I would import a bunch of these.
Boy I tell you what, are those some god dang video games?
